Local Products



Capers, dried products (watermelons, melons, pumpkins etc.), olives, plum tomatoes and fliskouni are some of the local products of Milos.

The island also produces a variety of animal products: cheeses ([kefalotyri, xynomyzithra, touloumotyri), but also kid and lamb meat. Finally a small production of wine serves the needs of the island.

There is an abundance of fish on the island: fry, bogues, mullets, scorpion-fish, squids, octopuses, cuttlefish, sea breams, breams etc.
