You are here: For visitors / The Islands / Folegandros / Beaches

One will not find organised or endless golden sandy beaches in Folegandros. You will however find  natural shades from trees and spotless turquoise waters. The following beaches are located near the harbour: Chochlidia, with sand, pebbles and trees, Vardia, Livadi, Vitzetzo, Latinaki, Pountaki and Katergo which has only sea access but is considered the most beautiful beach of the island, with small pebbles and clear blue waters.

Agkali, which is found in the Vathi bay, on the western coasts of the island, has easy access and several taverns. The path to Agios Nikolaos, with its beautiful beach with small pebbles and a tavern, starts from here. Further north you will find the beaches Livadaki and Ambeli. On the northeast coast of the island, you will meet the beaches Vorina, with the green Stone of Folegandros, Agios Georgios and Serfiotiko, which you can only approach on foot or by fishing boat.
